| Two students –
Amit Ben Anthony and Murtuza Charbiwala won the National Bio-Diversity
Quiz conducted by The National Council of Science Museums
[NCSM] held at Kolkata. Over 10,000 students from 2,500 schools had
participated in this competition. |

| Forty four students
from Std III to Std IX took part in the National Science Olympiad
conducted by the Science Olympiad Foundation. Several of our students
did well. Six of the students scored within the top 250 at the state

need of the hour, an eco-event on the theme ‘Water
and Water Management’ was conducted by
Hasanat High School on August 10 and 11, 2006.
Fourteen schools from the neighbouring area were involved.
The Times
of India covered the event
and appropriately titled it ‘Not
just a Drop in the Ocean’. |

| The pre-primary section presented their entire
year’s work to the parents in an exhibition in March. The students
of the pre-primary explained the work to the visitors. The
DNA dated March 7, 2007 covered the event. |
