Classroom
Each classroom is hexagonal in shape with large windows to permit adequate natural light into the classroom. The school was designed keeping in perspective around 70 sq.feet of floor space per child to permit flexibility and movement within the school as per International standards. The beehive shaped classrooms are designed to maximize the on-the-wall space and to give full scope to the ideal of learning by doing. Each class room has cork boards on the walls providing adequate display space for the work of the students. The school compound has several plants and trees of different varieties which helps the teachers to organize a nature trail around the school. The classrooms on the first and second floor over-look the terrace gardens adorned with flowering plants, vegetable garden and butterfly garden – a rare sight in the congested city of Mumbai.
